SHOW REEL 4 (Hit Records)

Here’s a great idea!
During the 60s and 70s, often well-known singing stars recorded cover versions of their own songs for budget labels under different names (for contractual reasons).
We’ve collected some of the best of those and have hundreds of those covers in our library!

So, what’s this “great idea”?  Well, if you have a limited budget, you could use one of our splendid versions instead of the original – and save a packet!  That way, you could free up resources to improve your production values and make an even greater impact for your client!
Give an ear to a few selections here. Ask us for a particular hit – chances are that we’ll have it!

SHOW REEL 5 (1950s British Library Music)

top

The 1950s were an extremely fertile and prolific period for so-called British "Light Music". Documentaries, public information films and newsreels were hungry for background or "bed" music and the likes of Robert Farnon, Malcolm Lockyer and many others were soon at work composing atmospheric and musically descriptive themes.

We offer here some of these cheery and evocative themes from our library of this genre
